I'll be replacing my tie rods to get rid of this awful steering wheel shimmy shortly, and am wondering if there's any reason I should go with the more expensive option here. I'd love to get the cheap ones, but dont want them to wear our sooner then normal, have other issues, etc. Let me know what you think.
Should I not buy these cheap tie rods?

Cheap tie rods (or control arms or shocks) will work, but they won't last long. In the long run it is more cost effective to get the OE parts. While worn tie rods can cause a shimmy, so can worn shocks, control arms, or control arm bushings. The only real fix is to replace any and all worn parts. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
