    Lowering suspension-opinion needed

    Hello guys.
I just bought 1987 325i convertible that needs a new suspension (along with lots of other things), so i decided to ask for your opinion here.
I have read some treads here about the H&R cabrio sport springs and billstein shocks and it sounds like a great set up but it is a bit out of my price range.
So I am looking for alternatives and here is one i found on e-bay witch seams like a good deal:

What do you guys think?Should I go ahead and buy these or should i wait and save some money for the good stuff?
    Thank you.

The springs are on the link are fine. But with the kyb shocks it will most likely blow out real fast. Kyb shocks are great if your stock height not so much when lowered

Those springs won't slam the car or anything but they WILL lower it. The shocks really are the weak point there.

I'd just save your money and keep an eye out for some used bilstein sport shocks. As long as they aren't abused, they can last from owner to owner to owner.

Do it once, do it right, and get BC racing coilovers. I've already had two sets (two different cars) and convinced two fellow e30 friends to purchase them. They did and both absolutely LOVE them. For the money, you can't go wrong. I promise.

            I struggled with this...

Trust me, saving up for the Bilsteins is well worth it. I mean, a lifetime warranty??

NOTHING has a lifetime warranty anymore.

And I put these on today- already feel different- no squat or dive at all... I found them on BavAuto- $410 for all 4. And I really struggled with whether to go H&R Race or Sports.

Went with sports- no regrets thus far.
