I purchased my 318i for a song. While going through the service records, I found the previous owner installed Boge turbo shocks in 2009 (Paid $663 installed). I had never heard of Boge Turbo shocks, nor did I find much information online.
So, I went through the suspension with polyurathane, solid mounts, etc. After the install, I purchased a set of H&R race springs and started looking for some billy sports. I got impatient and decided to install the H&R race springs and blow the Boge Turbo shocks.
Well, I've put over 10k on the Boge's and they still haven't shown a sign of wear. They're perceptibly under-damped versus my re-valved billy sports, but its been great for daily use.
Cliffs: Installed H&R race springs on Bogg Turbo shocks. Dampen acceptably and have not blown in >10k. Decided this was thread worthy.
