    Raising the rear...

Currently using my 1989 325i 4dr. as an off/on daily driver, as well as towing a 16' hobie cat and small powerboat from time to time. Currently running H&R Sports/Bilstein Sports and running euroweaves with 225/50/15 Falken 512s which ride great, but are a bit too low in the rear when towing either boat or a small trailer.

Thinking I can run a 425lb. 7" springs and adjusters for added height and stiffness in the rear. Thoughts or should I be looking for 6" springs with adjusters or just 7" springs w/out adjusters?

What is the tongue weight of the trailers?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Depends I suppose, but for the sailboat maybe 125lbs and the powerboat around 75lbs. I believe the hitch is rated for 1500lb. max trailer weight and 150lbs. of tongue weight.

I could use my truck, but really prefer using my E30 as its a bit more comfortable.
