    Is my JOM strut blown or is this fixable?

    So I heard this weird clinking noise, so I checked it out and what happened was the top part to my rear strut fell down. I circled it in this JOM group buy pic


    Also how dangerous is it to ride because I'm still driving on it

    That is just the dust shield. Not blown
    Go get yourself some plastic BMW ones for $5. Job done

        Mine fell off. JB weld and forced it back up, it's been good ever since. I'd also like to know if they're necessary, because the struts don't have dust boots.
