I need shocks for going low

I had a set of gc coils on my car but my struts were trashed and I had it lowered all the way so it bottomed out front and rear way to much.

So I took them off and put on late model front strut tubes with new stock struts and some kind of lowering spring I had Laying around(I'm not sure what they are) the car rides great now but I need to go lower in the front and rear

So I have the gc's and the original early model strut tubes

I plan on cutting the strut tubes down 2 inches and dropping the perches 2 in

As far as the front goes I have no I idea what strut inserts will work well

And I plan on Camaro shocks for the rear

This car will be very low so I want it pretty stiff so I don't bottom out to much

    What should I buy

I also read something about e90 top hats would there be any benefit of getting these considering what I'm doing ?

The springs that you use are really going to determine how ofter the car bottoms out. The shocks have little affect on that except that high rate springs that allow the car to sit really low require re-valved shocks to handle the higher rates. Talk to Ground Control about both the springs and the shocks. I suspect they are going to recommend re-valved Koni shocks.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Also e90 spring plates would be useless with the GC setup since the GCs use their own spring plates and not the stock style ones.

I was talking more about the shocks themselves are bottoming out. And I'm going to cut the front strut tubes down 2" so I need shorter strut inserts

im running 440f and 675r and im sitting as low as i can go. im running billy sports in the rear and had them shortened by 60mm to get the spring captive..... ill either run IX billys in the front, they are 3" shorter from memory. possibly 2", or a IX koni (possibly another koni made to suit) also gc top camber plates in the front will drop your ride about 2" and give you more shock travel too, saving bottoming.

While this would be mostly true assuming the strut length stayed the same, he is talking about shorter struts. I've got VW Corrodo G60 front Koni inserts in my shortened front housings; I'd call GC as suggested.

I heard of using those from what I understand early model struts have a smaller diameter than late model? I have both but it would be a lot easier to use the early model ones since I temporarily put the late model ones on my car.vto build this set up

Yes, early and late model fronts are not the same size.

i would run the 55mm late style tubes as they ae what most shock options will fit, ive also heard that mr2 shocks work with shortened strut tubes as well.
