ideas to remove stuck inner tierod?

the inner tierod is stuck to the steering rack and doesnt wanna loosen up. i have the rack out of the car on the bench and tried holding the rack in the vice and using a monkey wrench on the tierod to no avail. if i put any more force on it it will turn the shaft in the rack and i cant ruin this rack, but must remove the inner tierod as its already cut in half.
ive tried soaking it with a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone which is a pretty good penetrating oil. I have tried heating the tierod mildly with a map gas torch untill the point that the shaft started to get to warm for my comfort as i dont wanna damage the seal. i dont wanna grip the shaft itself and mar it up and have those marks dammage the seal either.

so i turn to you r3v any ideas? i have a decent ammount of tools at my disposal but cant see a good way to apply much force without grabbing the shaft with a vice and marring it up.

    thanks in advance

yes pantelones actualy did when he tried to remove it before he sold it to me but i pounded them back even more just to be sure.

my current effore has the rack in the vice on my bench suecuring both mounting points and a wrench on the opposite side of the shaft holding where its flattened for the gears and a monkey wrench on the other side but that just resulted in me lifting my bench trying to rotate it. i dont have a oxy torch but i fear heating the shaft would dammage the seal.

With the rack held in the vise, put a long (18-24") wrench on the tie rod nut, and then hit the wrench with a sledge hammer.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

ITS OFF! the rig i listed above with the wrench on the oppisite side braced aginst the bench itself instead of my partner holding it and him holding the bench down managed to get it without a torch. yay!

thank you to everybody for your input
