brass ring

how do i removethe brass ring on the bilstein strut so i can slide my coil sleeve over it -

btw riding with cosmo's all the way down in the back on billy sports and rolled fenders on 16x8 et 0 with 215 tires -no rub and good ride.

time to do the fronts.

It just just unscrews. It's called a gland nut.

Flat head screwdriver and a hammer.

Pipe wrench or channel lock pliers work as well, but be careful about messing the nut up.
