          LOL my bad guys!

This is the winter daily driver, my 87 e30 is my toy. Sooner or later it will get lowered. This workout was my pregame for the other car.

These are the springs from the winter car. Plan on selling them for now, until I decide what springs I want. for the 87 E30

FOR SALE: Bavarian Autosport Performance Springs - Set of 4 Part Number: SK E304 016
Retail NEW @ $224.95 Taking offers for now.

          Quick Description from their website:

Lower your BMW without sacrificing comfort. We had a tough time finding lowering springs that gave us both the improved handling we craved and the ride comfort we wanted. So we developed our own springs! They're made specifically for drivers who want the aggressive look and better handling of lowering springs, but not the harsh ride associated with most sport springs. They'll lower your BMW an average of 30 mm (about 1 1/4''). Engineered and manufactured in Germany of cold-rolled silicon steel, they're finished with a durable powder coat in Bavarian Autosport red. Available only from Bavarian Autosport

Thats not a good idea. The Safer way of doing it is to use a spark plug socket. You can slip a 1/4" extension and socket inside and the and a crescent wrench on the outside. Its also a good idea to break the nut loose with the car on the ground with the suspension completely loaded. Sometimes you'll get lucky and will be able to break them free with a quick jerk.

^ i had used an impact gun with success everytime, it takes one hand holding the shaft and the other with an impact gun.

You can't just look at spring height because spring rate etc has a lot to do with the drop.

strut compressor mounted to a wall helps, though i never bothered useing it.
always layed the struts on the ground, hit the nut with a impact, BOOM parts go flying.

Has anyone found out the spring rates yet? And anyone have pics of these on a 318is? I just bought a set. Going from stock suspension. Anyone know if KYBs would last with these installed?

Installed them on my 325e with bilsteins. The ride is nice but they are a bit soft for the drop. But the drop they gave was great! Not slammed but a great moderate even drop

I asked for the spring rates and the ebay supplier did not know them. Maybe we could contact KW/ST directly and ask
