I installed a IE 22mm front sway a few weeks ago and noticed after driving the bar would move laterally to the point where it would rub the control arm and at times rub the tire when turning. I ordered 30$ Whiteline 22mm sway bar locks which essentially just clamp to the inner or outer side of the poly bushings so it can move side to side. I expected the Whiteline locks to be strong and have great hardware considering it was 30$ for such a simple product, but they were light alloy and seemed cheap. I installed them anyways figuring they would do the job. Haven't noticed the movement since I put the locks on. Anyone else ever have an issue similar to this?

Although the chances are slim, it is always possible that you might have received the wrong size bushings. We do have swaybar locks, and do sell/include them on request, in fact I'll simply list them as an option on the website listing to avoid any confusion in the future. I have no knowledge of the whiteline locks, chances are we are using the same source.Last edited by SkiFree; 09-05-2012, 01:29 PM.
