What kind of steering rack is this? Z3?

Hi

I have this power steering rack. I know it is out of a Z3 and I do believe it is 3.5 turns lock to lock with a 14.5:1 ratio. I found that on the some forums.

These are the numbers on the rack

Basicly I'm looking for more information about this rack. I got this rack out of a big pile of crap in my buddies garage. He doesn't use it an can't remember what it is out of.

I would like to know a part number and a model year for the car it came out of. I would like to order a rebuild kit for it.

I'm planning on installing this rack into my 1987 325is. Is it a good rack to install into an E30? What kind of adapter do I need? Or can I just install it? I have spare power steering hoses so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm just curious on the Gibo and the knuckle.

Any information would be great.
