This is a small little review on the H&R Cup Kit for the Convertible. I think the kit has different spring rates on the coupe/sedan so make sure before taking what I have to say into consideration.
I installed the H&R cup kit about 2 weeks ago going against what many people said. The general consensus was that it would be "too soft" and "too low." I was warned that I would have no problem "breaking my oil pan" and that it wouldn't really be daily drivable.
Needless to say, I'm pretty stubborn and impatient so I went ahead and installed them instead of returning, paying a restocking fee, and ordering a different setup.
I'm writing this for two reasons:
1) Not much information and mostly misinformation online when it comes to the H&R Cup Kit
2) I've gotten a few PM's regarding the set up
Purchased:
Tirerack for like 720 shipped. They were here in 2 days. Very fast shipping and easy to deal with. Overall good transaction.
Part Quality:
Good quality parts, it's H&R and made in Germany so you can expect good quality control and craftsmanship. Everything fit perfectly when it was time to install as well.

What else should you buy?
I recommend you get new shock mounts, and replace control arm bushings.
If I could do it again I would replace the whole control arm assembly, along with sway bar links and tie rods.
Ride Quality:
The car handles much better and is much more responsive. I must note that I also installed condor speed shop M3 offset CAB's concurrently so these probably have an impact on my review. The car feels a lot more stable at speeds. The ride isn't "too soft" at all. I actually enjoy the ride, it's not stiff but the best way I could describe it would be that it is firm
I haven't bottomed out on anything yet, and you don't need to do a racecar profile when entering a driveway with a steep incline. I wouldn't recommend going head on, but you shouldn't have any problems.
The car is much more connected with the road. I can feel the imperfections in the road, and road feedback has increased significantly. Steering is also more crisp and accurate.
Ride Height:
The car looks more aggressive now. I'm sure once my wheels get in, it will look even better. I can fit about 2 fingers in the front wheel well and about 1.5 fingers in the back.
If anything, I actually wish it was a bit lower, but we'll see how it looks with 16" wheels that should be on within a week.
