    Spring pad removal Rear. Need quick help!

    removing my rear pads. cant i just cut them and itll come out? and is this safe? what will my spring sit on?

        It sits on the metal surfaces the pads are on. F34r helped me get mine out and its simple as pop the spring out, pull the pad off, sand off any corrosion, hit it with some rust inhibitor, install springs then enjoy. Totally worth losing them and next to no added noise.

                Jack up the rear. Disconnect the strut. You can take off the sway link and that should let the rear trailing arm drop enough to just pull the spring out. Since it sounds like you're new to this i'd say play it safe and rent some spring compressors from autozone/oreily's/advanced auto. I had help from f34r so he's a great source if you want some pointers.
