E90 upper spring plates installed - no drop

I don't understand this, I installed the upper spring plates and there is no difference. In fact it looks to be a little bit higher on the one side I did install one on. Any ideas why this may have happened?

Did you drive/roll the car after the install?

Also, if you only did one side you will not notice as much drop.

I've only done one side - that is correct, but I still should have noticed a slump on that one side correct?

why was only one side done? I mean it's not like they are too expensive.

I'm kind of a sore to the forums... can't really provide much information to them just leech info out. Wish I could give back more but I'm not the most mechanically sound person - I do IT for a living lol.
