Ground control coilovers... if I have Koni's now can I swap in Blisteins?

The GC setup I have are using the Koni adjustables and I have a set of revalved Bilsteins in a box.

If I wanted to do a swap in the future can I just extract the Koni and drop in the Bilsten? Or are the shock bodies different sizes and the Bilstein not fit properly without a spacer or new sleeve?

Do you have shortened front housings or inserts? Rears will work fine.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

I have shortened GC housings and the Bilsteins have been shortened as well.

How much is the housing and insert sectioned?
Do some simple math and see if it works.

Also, I'm not sure if the gland nut lock collars are the same.

My concern was the ID of the strut and if Konis were larger/smaller than a Bilstein.

The height question I can figure out if the damper can drop in. I just did not want to extract the fronts only to find out they wouldn't fit in.
