Lately, I've been looking into my options for a new suspension, as mine has stayed completely stock from the factory 25 years ago. I was pretty much decided on a new set of Bilstein Sports and Eibach springs for ~$700, when an E30 part-out began locally. It has a complete JOM Coilover kit installed on it, with only 3,000 miles, which the owner has listed for $300.
Now, I know the JOM kit isn't the BEST quality out there, but for that price (maybe cheaper with some haggling), would I be an idiot to pass this one up?
Coils are appealing to me is because I recently had a new exhaust installed and as a result, my resonator is only about 4" from the ground at stock height. I'm a little nervous that something non-adjustable might be a little too low.
