    Strut assemblies?

    Hi Guys,
Anyone ever heard of a place to buy E30 strut assemblies, pre-assembled? I need struts, shocks, top bearings, etc, and it would be a much quicker job if I didn't have to fart around spring compressor tools.

I'd imagine you could find a shop that would source a set of struts and springs and set them up for you, but I'd guess that would be rather pricey. I've never seen what you are looking for offered on a regular basis. Dealing with the springs only adds about 30 minutes to the job of replacing the strut inserts and upper shock mounts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Pat Goss on Motorweek was showing these assemblies as well as control control arms with ball joints already pressed in. Those control arms are readily available, but I hadn't seen the struts. Maybe I should ask the show where to get these setups?
