Major z3 steering rack swap problem.

So I finally get my z3 rack shipped, which should be a 2001 z3 3.0, and it comes in with the hard lines snipped, you can see them here. http://imgur.com/a/Owkgc
Am I pretty much fucked? The lines off my e30 rack were a different fitting size, and I even pulled the lines off an e36 rack and they didn't fit. I guess the 3.0 rack isnt a zf. Anyways, do I have any options here or do I just have to send it back?

Seems like I've seen the pipes available from a dealer as a separate part.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You could always remove the lines and run it with no power steering

Yea I was thinking that, but I'm pretty sure you still need those lines to circulate fluid within the rack.

You're not able to flare and bend your own? Then it's get another set (probably wont find used) or get it rebuilt from rackDR :s

If you want cheaper, e46 an e36 racks are more available

The flares are weird, they're more like gas fitting flares.

no need to have the lines to circulate fluid. Lots of people on here have drained their power steering fluid, capped off the holes for the lines and called it day. I did this to my e30 the day I started driving it. I haven't had any problems with it for a year now.
