    Low speed left turn groan?

So, a week or so ago, my car started making noise. Whenever I turn left, the car makes this groaning noise, but only under 15MPH or so. No noise when I turn it to the right, and it's different from the low PS fluid sound, and it's only coming from the left wheel area, so I think it might be a bent tierod or something.

I have to change out my front pads soon, so when I do that, I'll take a look and maybe some pictures. Anyone have any insight in the meantime?

Certainly check for damaged parts, but check the wheel bearings also. Usually, but not always, a bad wheel bearing will make noise in a turn on the side opposite of the turn direction. Occasionally the noise will be on the same side as the turn.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

my cars have groaned when the top hat bearing was dying. changed it fixed both cars. pop the black cap off the top of the shock and see is the ball bearings look rusty or potentially broken.
