Ok - ordered. I'll write a review when I get them in next week and drive around on them.

Sweet, let us know. When I start messing with the vert I picked up earlier in the summer I'm gonna need something like these.

Interested in hearing a review on these as well. Need struts bad and this setup is cheaper than Bilsteins (for a reason). Could be worth it.

Would never ever get another raceland product.

Had them on my mk3, Brand new. Came with a blown strut. Company wanted me to reship the strut after I had already aligned everything, pay for shipping, and have a couple days without a car.

I couldn't not have a daily, drove the car for probably 500 miles. It still had room to go lower, but honestly, was one of the worst handling vehicles. To put it into terms, my front lip was about 2'' off the ground. If I hit this one dip, the lip would sag and scrape on flatter ground. Complete garbage, I am suprised so many people actually use them.

You expected QC out of a $350 set of coilovers and dampers? You need quality before there can be quality control.

In order to produce a shock at that cost the valving needs to be made by drilling holes through a hockey puck and the shock oil is probably discarded grease from mcdonalds.

The full set of coils costs LESS than a set of proper springs alone. Of course they will suck.

I didnt expect anything phenominal, but I also did not expect doa product with terrible return policy, major shock jounce, and overall a terrible experience that would result in their loss of me as a future customer.

Eithor way, just not worth it.

Just experienced my first blown strut. Been running them since February/March. Ride quality has been shit, but the lowered stance is there. Biggest mistake ever. Don't buy, I should have gone with JOM. whomp whomp.

Ya been running them about 6 months also - the threaded colar that threads into the strut housing keeps coming loose on one side - can't find the special two pin tool to properly tighten them down again.

Even besides that - when lowered all the way the spring is too short so when hitting bumps, clinks/clanks all over - makes ton of noise, rides shittier than anything I've ever been in.. all the trouble it was to put these in, regret not using something else.. but it is my beater and can't afford to have both e30's on koni/gc. Car drove like butter on the oem sachs setup, but had 4x4 stance. So if you wanna go low, they're not even that low unless you cut your strut housings.

All this info regards the front FYI. Rears ride fine, no noise, not too hard, go stupid low - think I'm almost all the way up and I tuck tire easily.

If anyone has the two pin colar tightening tool, would love to pay shipping to send it to me :p Or anyone in SF/Oakland have it?
Hope this helps anyone considering them.

pics of said e30 (vert) - this is all the way down in front. put on one side of my turbines on buddy's mtech2

(front up a lil higher, rides a lot better)

it would have been better to buy used than buying crap.

it's like buying a volvo lip, sure you have a "lip" but it's still rubbish.

for all those out there looking at cheap crap like these. smoke less weed for a few weeks and save the cash to buy quality stuff. the reason GC's cost more is because you get what you pay for. Im on CG's on my DD, rides great, quiet and i know it's not gonna fall apart after 3000 miles. i have cheap crap coilovers on my M3, thx to the PO, and there is a HUGE difference in ride quality.
                        Much wow

I take it these are even worse than JOMs? I mean, JOMs suck, but they aren't that bad.
