    GAZ coilovers for e30.

    Hello friends,
I read here alot about suspension upgrade.
Me and my friend both have e30. We decided to go on GAZ coils.
But after reading over the internet i saw that there is some problems with the rear towers.
this problem cannot be solved with a sway bar?
Some pepole told me that i need to reinforce the back? What i need to do excactly?

I saw that most of the setups is with spring and shock at the rear. I'm really intrested about this subject, hope you can help me.

Thanks and sorry for the bad english.

If you run really stiff coils in the back you should have a rear strut tower brace like this:

And some reinforcements for the strut tower like this:

i'm planing to put strut brace at the rear.
There is something else that need to do?

I noticed that only in e30 you need to reinforce like this before you put coils.

If you purchase GAZ coils you can opt out of the full rear coilover setup and run an inbound setup like a normal e30. That will solve your problem with the rear strut towers. Give them a call or email and ask about the two options they will help you out, I was going to run these coils but decided against it due to shipping times from the uk.

Lots of people in England and Europe run gaz with good results & they are not having their rear strut towers explode...

this. it really depends on if you run true coil overs in the back or one of those inbound adjustable set ups.
