Hey everyone,
So I'm trying to put on a race skids lower brace on a 93 cabby and I can't get it to fit. My question concerns whether other people have had any issues with the cross brace. The rear portion bolts up just fine to the LCAB brackets, but the same can't be said for the front. The steering rack bolts will not go all the way through the subframe because because the front section of the brace isn't at the proper angle (therefore stopping the bolt from going all the way through), so only 80% of the bolt will go through the subframe (aka the top nut can't be threaded onto the bolts). Am I doing something wrong, as I was doing this job on a lift at a shop (should the suspension be loaded on the ground?). I am stumped by this since it should be an easy job. The car has a race skids skid plate and an e36 rack if that makes any difference. Any help appreciated and I hope my description is clear enough.
Thanks in advance,
Joey
