    Early-late model strut housing questions.

I purchased gc's for me early model a couple years ago and I took them off because my struts were blown an it rode like crap.

I plan on shortening the strut tubes.

What can I use for shorter shocks? I've heard g60 or ix? Will these work on the smaller early model strut tubes?

I have late model strut tubes as well but I'm not sure if my gc's will fit since the tube is larger.

    What should I do?

G60 and IX are both the larger strut size. get newer struts. running the smaller ones, you will continue having issues.

Ok I have a set of newer strut housings currently on the car. But will the gc semi coil kit I bought for the early model strut tubes work with the late model? I'm thinking it wont wich really sucks.

If I do have to use my 45mm strut tubes to run my existing gc's is there a shorter strut option for these?

The sleeves will fit either tube.

Use the skinny o-rings with the fat housings.

Calll me if you don't have them anymore. I'll send some to you.

Perfect thank you I still have all the I rings. I'm really glad I don't have to buy another set.
