I just removed the right strut for the first time and I see there's this wire on the back of it preventing me from taknig it away from the vehicle, what wire is this and how do i disconnect it?

Nah Ken, brake wear sensor is on the front left and rear right.
Its your ABS sensor likely. It unbolts...

It's easier to disconnect the plug inside the engine bay and pop it out. The sensor like to get stuck in.Comment

Yeah. Easiest way I found to get them out is to PB blas the hell out of them. Get some vise grips and twist it to breat it loose. Then get a flat blade and a hammer to separate it from the strut housing. Then alternate between vise grip twisting and flat blade-hammering.-Brandon
