    shocks for h&r race

Now that my bushing are finally on their way, I'm getting ready to freshen up the suspension. I'm planning on getting H&R race springs. I was planning on getting bilstein sports front and rear. I then read that the compression dampening is too fast for higher spring rates, which causes a bouncy ride. What is R3V's opinion on this, do people recommend other shocks for use with these springs?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Check out the Camaro shock sticky for some other, cheaper, options.

Bilstein Sport shocks are a good match to H& Race springs. That combination does not result in a bouncy ride, though the spring rates are pretty high for a daily driver.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

The camaro shocks are a possiblity for the rear, but I'll still have to figure something out for the front.

Kyb agx Mr2 strut inserts, which are available for about $90, can be run in the front with a spacer, our cut/welded strut tubes. Rears are apparently longer, and require a smaller spacer, but are stiffer than the shorter front inserts.

I just picked up a set to try out, but can't vouch for them in this application, since I haven't installed then yet. Others seem to be happy with the combo.

I do have kyb agx shocks with h&r race springs in my na miata. I love the ride and adjustability, but I realize that is an apples to oranges comparison.
