my new set of CAB's are in a metal sleeve.... is the sleeve supposed to stay when they get pressed in, any tips for how to get the old on out and the new one in??? i've heard you can do these without a press, btw these are OEM replacements i got for 56.28 cdn with lifetime warranty...

You need a press to press them in and out of the lollipop. Yes the metal sleeve is part of it....

You grossly overpaid for them too.

you dont need a press. just a BIG hammer and a chissel to get them out, and a vise makes it easier to install em, but still not nec.

so you can use a vice to push them in, safe to put grease on the inside of the lollipop?

good point, as this is how i planned on doing them, but didn't want to toast the bushings trying to put them in.....
