    Strut tower Brace?

I'm curious if many of you guys are running one on a street driven e30?

If so, would you say it was worth the $$ in terms of improved cornering performance? Is the increased stiffness very noticeable?

Any suggested brands for a quality STB at a decent price?

Many will say it does nothing. I personally feel that a good solid (non hinged/adjustable) front strut brace DOES make a difference. I've got the Sparco on my car which I recommend. Other than that go with Mason or IE.

      Thanks MR....

It's something I'll look into. Probably wait until I stumble across a good deal on one

My feeling is that on a coupe or sedan a strut tower brace has a negligible affect on a street car. I can't detect and handling differences on a race car, but a strut brace may prevent bending of the tower in an off or incident.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

It is a good placebo for some, but llike Jim said the difference will be negligible if that.. I use mine mainly as a place to tie my shock reservoirs to... if I didn't have those I probably wouldn't have a bar.

Also Matt brought up a very good point. Invest in a nice SOLID bad, not a cheap adjustable/hinged one... those do not help anything and on top of that, IMO they look like shit.
