    upgrading rear strut mount

Funds and lack of patience wont allow trial and error. Dont want to deal with a pain in the ass strut being torn up from bilsteins. Dont have 100$ for IE mounts, these mounts from pelican are 17$ and seem to be sturdy. YAY OR NAY

Try using an E46 M3 Cabriolet rear shock mounts; I have those on my E30. Cheap strudy upgrade.

The Ireland Engineering rear mounts are $80 and well worth it.

If you're on a budget just get the Meyle HD replacement mounts. They are like $25 for the pair.

With the added stiffness of bilsteins im assuming (key word) the oem replacements wont last long or prevent catastrophic failure.

I may end up dishing out for the IE rsms, if anyone is familier with the pelican mounts first posted i would like to know how long theyve lasted and what kind of suspension set up you had mounted.

My favorite are the Rouge engineering parts. And the resilient bushing can be had from Rouge in a street or track durometer.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I doubt they'll last 100,000 miles but I've installed the Meyle HD mounts in a ton of cars with Bilsteins and have yet to see an issue.
