hey so my tax return is going to be here soon and im going to order some bc coilovers.. for spring rates i am going 10k/12k (550/675) but i also want to go very low... i understand you can order shorter springs as well as custom valving? i read i should get 6'' springs up front but what size springs should i get in the rear? and do they do the valving based on the rates and srping length you ordered or do i have to tell them what i want for that as well? if anything i posted is incorrect or you have a better opinion please help me out

If your car is a late model, get a 1" shorter rear spring. Tell whatever vendor you're using or call.
You don't need a shorter front spring for the front. The only benifit of that is to get tire/collar clearance.
You can lower the coilover until the internal bottom shock touches the amount of housing you left from your initial stock housing cut. -
oh okay that makes sense... although i do have 16x8 up front so i feel like theres a good chance i may have clearance issues? and yes its a 91Comment

apparently if your chosen spring rates are more than +/- 2kg/mm they will custom valve. Whether they actually do that or what they do is anyones guess.
i bought BC's myself, same rates 10k/12k. I just asked for the shortest possible springs front and rear. stupidly i can't recall what size they were, but i do know i couldnt get them as short as possible in the original 8k/10k i requested so i upped it to 10k/12k. It doesn't hurt to get the shortest springs you can since you can snug them up using the collars. I also went to great lengths to explain i want to go as low as possible too as i had heard of 'extreme low' versions being out there. So i just rubbed it in that i wanted low as possible haha
Unfortunately i cant make any comment on performance or anything else as the coilovers are still sitting in their box since my car is in the shop still long term for engine swap :PComment

ok thanks for that man... hey if you get a minute you should measure the lengths of the springs you have... if im not mistaken the lowest i have heard of are 6'' front and likr 4.7 or 5'' for the rear.... dont quote me on that just wat i read on stanceworks somewhereComment
