How to get my Ground Control down?

I have koni with GC and it's just not low enough... I will be happy if I got it down about another half of an inch up front I have the shortened struts and they are spun all the way down.

What is the best way to go about this? Shorter springs?? I don't want to loose the performance aspec of it but it does need to come down some more. Help

Not sure about your wheel selection but you could probably drop the sleeve down the strut tube some more, that would allow the spring to ride lower(wheels and tires could interfere because of inside clearance issues). It would require cutting and welding. How much were your strut tubes shortened?

I think it was shortened 3-4 inches.. I don't want to cut these up I rather just get some bc's or something... Do you think springs would do it???

          3-4"???
I thought most of the time gc only did like 1-2".

How do you know they were shortened, id question your certainty on that if you think it was shortened that much. What kind of shocks are you running. I dont think you can cut a strut tube thatuch and still fit an insert in. Plus your camber would be crazy.

No way they're shortened that much. Mine are shortened 1" and I still have 6 threads to go in the front and the car is pretty low IMO.

If they were shortened 2" and I bottom the adjustment out, I bet the car would be pretty much undriveable.

from what I understand, If you actually cut your struts 3-4" then you wouldn't be complaining about ride height as your oil pan should be flush with the pavement.

The sway bar tab looks exactly like the ones on my modified struts done by GC, so I would assume you only have yours cut 1" if it was done by them. Mark told me that in order to shorten the struts more than 1" after they have been modified, you have to grind off the sway bar tab, cut an extra inch off, and put everything back together with the sway bar tab moved down an extra 1"

a little more info on your kit like what shocks and springs you have would be helpful in providing you with a better answer. A shot of the cars ride height with wheels on would work too

I think ak- has GC's with incredibly short housings, maybe he'll pop in.

Hahaha they were only shortened 1" sorry for the confusion... I called GC and went with shorter springs and higher spring rates... They had a 5 inch spring instead of my 6 inch that is on the car. We will see how this turns out.
