    Swaybar choice

    Dear r3v,

My car is a 1990 318is. It sits on 205/50/15 with excentric M3 control arm bushings, Bilstein B8 shocks and Eibach pro-kit springs.

Which set of swaybars would be suited for my car? It now has the Mtech bars and I would like something stiffer that I can also adjust to influence the balance of the car

It sees about 10.000miles on the street every year and about 2 to 3 trackdays a year (Nurburgring and small technical tracks).

Would it be needed to reinforce certain points of my car?

    Thanks,
    PJ

Convertible front bar and M3/IX rear bar is a great budget combo.

Thanks for your input, but those bars are not adjustable I think?

I would like to be able to adjust the under/oversteer characteristics of the car.

I was thinking about getting the Eibach, H&R, or Ireland Engineering kits. But I do not know if they match my spring/damper setup.

Is there a good way to find out about those things? Charts? calculation methods?

Honestly, I would call up Ireland and ask them about your specific setup, they should be able to help you pick what will work the best for your car.

Sounds like a solid plan :) I'll send them a mail.

But do keep sending suggestions, maybe I have missed THE perfect brand of bars in my search :)
