Gc coil overs vs koni & hr race

Other than hight adjustment what are the benefits of ground control coil overs over Koni adjustables & H&R race springs

I want this thing to tear up the corners but rather not drop the coin on coilovers

Adjustable ride height, more car specific spring rates, and a linear rate spring versus the H&R progressive rate.

Honestly if you are going to invest that kind of money in Koni and H&R, just spend the few extra dollars on a proper GC setup and not do the same job twice.\

I run H&R on my car. Great setup but I want coilovers. Means I have to do the job twice.

In Prescott? It's on weaves right now.

Springs and shocks alone they aren't far off. It's when camber plates and mounts come into play. Rear mounts are a necessity when upgrading and fronts are recommended. Camber plates are also a good idea but not necessary.

Yeah I was up there for work. unless there are other dimantswartz with big driving lights around up there

          What do you mean mounts?

The camber plates replace the strut mounts correct what mounts are in the rear

IMHO linear springs > progressive springs... H&R's and I.E. are progressive and coilovers are typically linear

Rear shock mounts. You are going to need to beef them up for anything other than stock shocks. I know some people use E46 convertible (I think) rubber mounts, or I used the GC mounts which are reinforced. I HIGHLY recommend doing rear shock mounts as most people neglect doing them and they eventually tear.

It's worth buying Ground Controls the first time around, I know I wish I had. There's a good chance that you are going to replace the H&R race for coils anyway.
