Turner rear sway bar trunk mount reinforcement install problem

Hi I'm installing the Turner rear sway bar reinforcement brackets (blue) that mount through the trunk and have a question for anyone who might have these. On the stock rear sway bracket there is a tab that fits into a slot on the top of the stock body mounting point. The Turner brackets also have the tab but it is at an angle that won't fit into the slot.

Anyone else run into the same thing, and if so solutions (bend the tab, flatten it, ignore it)?

    Thanks.

The answer is bend the tabs. All good.
