how much will ix springs lift my i?

ok so i need a vehicle for the winter. this winter was just ridiculous. im thinking a stock 318is 5spd with ix springs and a skid plate. this vehicle will be for winter only. itll also have studded snow tires. just wondering how much the ix springs will lift my car and if theirs anything else i'll need to change like shocks...... im also going to possibly stack spring pads to make it as high as i can without dealing with driveline issues. any help is appreciated. just want an awesome e30 for the winter..... without getting and ix. my car is great but ground clearance is an issue. going to keep stock wheels and probably have a taller tires.....also any pics would be nice. thanks

    thanks for the help.

I seem to remember hearing you could use E36 springs for a substantial lift.

Edit: After looking it up it seems like I was incorrect.

ic springs are stiffer because of the extra weight?
