    IE Swaybar install questions

I'm trying to make (complete) sense of the IE install directions for the front bar and failing. My questions are about the end links for the front, and the 3 threaded sections that they have. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions about the rear tomorrow...
    But for the front:
    • The bottoms most threaded section that goes through the control arm: I assume once in the "correct" orientation that it is tightened such that it can't move?
    • The middle adjustment thread: I assume once adjusted it is also tightened so that it can't move?
    • The top most thread into the sway bar: I'm really unsure about this one. The instructions say to leave it loose, but for adjusting it says to leave all of them loose. Does this one get tightened down, or is it supposed to be left loose enough to swivel?

I'm also sort of assuming that all adjustments are made with BOTH wheels loaded down with weight (so on ramps), even though the instructions say something about cycling the suspension using a bottle jack under the control arm to find the proper orientation of the U join. This makes no sense to me, as once the car is weighted on a wheel, lifting it by the control arm won't change anything :loco:

I've looked up a few threads (most on other forums) on how to install these, and they are all from 2007 and quickly divulge into "omg my end links broke", and are unhelpful.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm going to go mess with it some more and hope it just makes sense. But based on how many threads there are on screwing this up, I'm guessing it's not stupidly obvious, which is usually what I need :)

    Thanks guys!

Done installing. I'll post pictures of how everything is oriented tomorrow for the sake of A) being corrected and B) anyone you finds this thread looking for info.
I ended up tightening down all 3 bolts as yes, it was obvious once I looked at them a second time. I still have some additional questions but I'll go hunting for the answers before posting them.

      Good to hear they're in!

Email me with questions ... I've got instructions almost finished which I'll put up. Think NO broken endlinks (due to bad tutorials that have been taken as gospel).
