So I recently bought a 93 325ic with 150k miles. All maintenance was up to date and taken care of by an indy shop, including regular inspections. The car just feels extremely soft and bouncy. I got in my e21 today which is 100% stock and it felt STIFFER and SPORTIER!! the e30 has bilstein shocks and probably stock springs. just wondering what you guys think and recommend I should do for the suspension set up for the e30.
e30 vert feels softer than e21

Unless you know otherwise, the shocks and struts are probably pretty tired and not doing their job. The springs could use replacing as well to better match the refreshed/upgraded shocks and struts. Take a look at the available options (Koni, Bilstein, etc.), consider what you're trying to do with the car and get out of it, and then narrow things down from there.
For reference, I run M3 springs and Koni adjustables at all four corners and I find it to be a GREAT daily driver setup.Interested in vintage cars? Ever thought about racing one? Info, photos, videos, and more can be found at www.michaelsvintageracing.com!
