Hey, so I recently bought a 1988 535i e28. So far I have just been doing basic maintenance (oil change, replacing gaskets etc.) I have been having some trouble finding coilovers for the e28 (or atleast decently priced ones ) Does anyone know of where I can find some or know of any non-over priced brands? Or I may just go with sport suspension, which seems like the best option at this point...

Well I want to be lower, not slammed. I want a nice, smooth ride height, couple inches below stock height. As far as budget goes, I'd like to find something under 1000, so far have had no such luck :(Comment

Just get spax springs and dampers.

Ground Control is your best bet. The e28(like the e24) has a heavy front end. You cannot use Bilstein sports on them, you will just bottom out the inserts.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~
