    E28 Coilovers

Hey, so I recently bought a 1988 535i e28. So far I have just been doing basic maintenance (oil change, replacing gaskets etc.) I have been having some trouble finding coilovers for the e28 (or atleast decently priced ones ) Does anyone know of where I can find some or know of any non-over priced brands? Or I may just go with sport suspension, which seems like the best option at this point...

What's your budget? Are you trying to just go low, or to make it actually handle well?

Well I want to be lower, not slammed. I want a nice, smooth ride height, couple inches below stock height. As far as budget goes, I'd like to find something under 1000, so far have had no such luck :(

this. pretty damn low and still have great handling and ride.

            gotta love the e28 fenders.

            so much room for activities.

Ground Control is your best bet. The e28(like the e24) has a heavy front end. You cannot use Bilstein sports on them, you will just bottom out the inserts.
