why go to a solid type rear shock mount?

i thought my stock rear shocks were bad causing a clunk, turns out they were fine and that wasn't the prob. so i was wondering is it worth it to install the solid type rear shock mounts if your stock ones are ok. what is to be gained... i already have bilstein sports, h&r springs, h&r rear swaybar, and poly rear a-arm mounts. it wound seem that the next weakest links would be the subframe mounts or the shock mounts. will it make a difference or should i wait until they wear out and replace them with the solid type then?

Don't waste your money, just get the heavy duty meyle mounts from BMA. Call Patrick, he'll know what you are talking about. $8 per side IIRC.

DANK! $8 is much better than $85-$90 even if i am not happy with the results not much $ lost on the mod!

Any additional NVH on the street from these?

I would highly doubt a heavy duty rear shock mount would cause a significant amount of NVH.

No additional NVH, but then again I've already got IE Stg 3's, Konis, M3 bushings and Urethane rears. The urethane rear bushings and front M3 bushings added the most NVH, but still liveable. For $8/side you can't lose.

Those HD meyle mounts drop right in? No messing around with anything?
