need help on eccentric trailer arm bushings

    Guys,

I am doing a full suspension swap from my completely shot stock set up to Bilstein sports and Eibach sport springs (the full pelican parts kits).

as far as the rear trailer arm goes, it comes with eccentric bushing to help offset the increased negative camber from lowering the car. How do i set up the eccentric bushing to keep camber around -1 to -2 without messing up the toe configuration?

Also any recommendations for doing this install would be most welcomed as I am nice and green behind the ear.

    thanks :o :D

When using eccentric bushings (or weld in camber/toe adjusters) both toe and camber must be iteratively adjusted to get correct alignment of the rear wheels. This is best done on an alignment rack.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Both will need adjusting as toe will be off from the lowering itself. So a full alignment would be needed.

Don't do it. They move and throw off the settings. If you want camber correction, get the weld on kit, and use standard bushes.

        From experience.

          thanks for the responses

How much of a change in camber (or toe) are we talking?

As far as i know to do a rear alignment requires dropping everything out and can only be done with weld-ins...

how long will the eccentric bushings hold if i wanted to upgrade to weld-ins maybe a couple years down the line?
