    PSA - Bilstein Re-valve service

Found out today that Bilstein raised the price for doing the reseal/re-valve service they've done before for 65-75 per corner.

Few years back I had them re-valve my Bilstein Sport shocks for e30 and it was about 65 or 75 per corner for my coilover kit.

I've sent them another set for my E34 on the 2/20 and today got a call that they are done and the total cost was almost $600. I after I called them to find out why it's so much more, I was told that before they were doing the re-valve job for the cost of the reseal and they aren't doing that anymore.

    Just an FYI.

Holy hell Jean! As if the turn-around time isn't appalling enough, that's a hell of a bill. How much are new Bilstein sports anyways?

You can usually buy a full set for about or maybe even under 500 iirc, I just had an old set on the car and wanted them re-valved etc. They did it per my spec, more of low speed damping and less high speed damping. Crossing my fingers that they'll arrive friday so I can install them and my new H&R Sports on saturday.

Turn around time currently is BUSY, I was told they had 50 sets and I was 7th in line a week or so ago.
