    problem with JOMS

I just got a set of JOMS, and when i went to put the strut insert in, the nut that goes over the shock, to keep it in, will not fit over the top of the shock.. Is this normal? I contacted the seller and she said everything should fit fine.. The only solution I can think of is to just leave that nut off and put the adjuster right over the shock, but i can't see that holding the shock in while going over a bigger bump.

The gland nut that holds the strut insert in the strut housing is absolutely required. And the gland nut required differs according the strut insert used. For example Koni SA and OE inserts use the OE part, but Bilstein inserts require a different gland nut.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

You have to use the JOM strut cartridges, they have a smaller diameter at the top, so the thick gland nut fits in the tube. Without the JOM strut cartridge your screwed.
