    Quick suspension question

    Hey Guys,

So I am bringing my car in to my mechanic Saturday. I have felt some extra play in the front end and want to tighten up the suspension. My mechanic saw the car today for the first time and noticed some boots leaking that are part of the steering system. He recommended I swap to an e36 rack, but is that fix immediately necessary? Also, I saw ECS tuning has a suspension rebuild kit for the front and rear. Is it worth getting something like this or should I buy the parts individually?

You might need to replace control arms, tie rods, shocks, rear subframe mounts and rear shock mounts. Don't forget sway bur bushing and links. You will love your e30 after.

Just bought all the stuff you mentioned (mechanic pretty much said the exact same thing as you). Switching over to poly bushings (except keeping rubber for the control arms). He said my rear shocks needed to be replaced so I am just ordering BC coilovers, since this was my plan for down the line anyway.
