    Plugging up a power rack?

So I'm removing the power steering hardware on my 325is after the motor comes out, and I'm wondering, can you fill the power steering rack with a good grease and plug it up? I've heard stories of it working, figured I'd ask and see if anyone here has done it.

Don't ask why I'm doing it, just answer the question. :)

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

    That question.

I pretty sure that you just shorten and loop the lines-the PS fluid lubes. Try not to get Dextron II all over the place like everybody else. I won't ask why because I know what a pump costs.

I just had 2 lines going from the rack to with PS tank with the stock rack, I might just run my new z3 rack dry. The actaul gear of the rack isnt lubed by fluid, but the seals may tear i guess. I got some dextron 3, i take it that wont kill the rack?
