    Your BC Coilover Suspension setup

Just wondering for those of us using BC Suspension (coilovers) what is your Damping/shock setting for front and back. I've read the suspension thread but that's geared toward setup in general. This is specific to BC Suspension.

Would be interesting to get some feedback for different settings.

Right now my level of adjustment up to 30:

    F: +6

    R: +10

This, for my ride height, which isn't slammed but lowered, has enough comfort but at the same time feels really tight and firm when cornering, accelerating and braking with good steering wheel feedback.

So they way I learned to adjust shocks is this.
You start with the shocks set to full. IE the max they are capable of doing.
Then you back out the settings. So its -2 -3 and so on.
So when tunning my BMW to no cruise the boulevard I set the fronts to full and then work around the rear shocks.
    SO
For you it sounds like the boulevard and canyon roads are where you drive maybe try this.
Set the fronts to the stiffness youd like or can handle and then back the rears off till it does what you want.

Interesting, I learned the opposite. Though, I also was taught to only adjust shocks for tire compliance first and balance second (which some people like to butt heads about). I start at full soft and work my way up to as stiff as necessary, then back off one click when I'm happy. I guess it doesn't really matter where you start, the process is still more or less the same.

          Great link BTW
Well as was explained to me a shock dyno plot is what the shock is capable of on its best/firmest/max setting. So if that is your baseline then anything less than that is minus what it can do.
But yes I agree one can end up the same place with either method.

I don't think I've had mine adjusted all the way up yet. I think I'll wait on that until I get my other wheels and tires and get to the track. A few things to tidy up until then however.
