Can I run different springs in the back?

I have RD green springs on my car. IT's an 85 318i so the gap in the back is still noticable (higher arches, lighter car). Here's my questions. Can I get some sort of adjustable perches with different springs, like GC's, just for the back? I would make sure the spring rates are the same, or similar, but would running a completely different spring be a bad handling decision. Thanks for the info.

yes. it might be hard to get them to balance or use a progressive sprign in front and a linear in back, but yes. maybe put a front sway bar on.

i can sell you my rear adjusters and springs. i'm updating them to the newer style. nothing wrong with the old style, but i want to run a certain spring whose diameter is the new style.

i'm not sure. i;m about to order the new adjusters in a week or so. probably asking $70 shipped for the adjusters. and $75 shipped for the springs (may sell seperate)

        it is a 6in tall, 2.25in ID, 475# spring
