    E46 Sways?

So I'm putting the UUC sway bars in my buddy's 1999 328i and he said I could have the old ones, so I haven't really had a look at them to compare them but I was wondering if anyone would know or had the experience, if possible, to put e46 sway bars into an e30? The e46 OEM sways are a little bigger that the e30 if I'm correct, e30 is 20-12 and e46 is 23-19? So I figured it would be a slight upgrade and would only need a couple parts instead of a full kit. Look forward to hearing your guys suggestions or answers!

Alright so I took the new ones for my buddy's e46 checked out the ones in the e30 and no dice, shorter, way more kinks and bends, and the arms for the linkage to fit are just too short all together, incase anyone wanted to know
