    powdercoating strut housings

    So im gonna weld the m3 links on then whats the best way to powdercoat the housings? has anyone done this? I really dont want to have to pull the bearings if I dont have to.

    Front hub bearing are easy as fuck to take off...

      like prom dresses? seriously though 400* for 10 minutes u think they will hold up?

        The bearings might possibly survive, but the seals won't. If you are going to powder coat the struts, plan on new front hubs.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

            you can remove and re-install the old ones. I've done this sooo many times. I powder coated my strut housings and did exactly that. I didn't feel like dropping 200.00 for new bearings when the old set up was fine.
