I just put in sport lowering springs (don't know the brand, they were bought second hand, the brand name had evidently worn off). They're red, and they lowered my touring about 1.75" front and back. They seem progressive, since they're still kinda comfy when I drive normally, and stiffen up drastically as they are compressed.
BUT, the original reason I put them is to lower the front of the car a little more than the back, but now the back is in-line with the front (character lines are now parallel to the ground. In my opinion, that looks like *ss. I wanted the back to still be a little higher than the front for that aggressive stance. Would putting my stock springs back into the rear cause death/destruction on the highway or is it worth a try? Or maybe I should get thicker rubber pads for the rear (if any exist).
Suggestions?
