1.9 z3 rack swap- e30 or z3 outer tie rods?

I guess this is a better question. For someone very inexperience, what is the benefit compared to the pain of doing the swap?

The car will feel much more responsive. It takes less steering input to corner which is especially helpful on a race track or auto-x course. When lapping with the old rack, under hard cornering I required some hand over hand action while steering. That's blooding annoying in competition.

Honestly, if all you're doing is driving on the street and have zero interest in track/autox, I wouldn't bother. If you do, this mod is a must.
