Will 45mm Bilstein struts work in 51mm housings, specifically the earlier model 318i part in 88+ e30's? Does Bilstein sell anything to make this installation possible?
yes there's an collar nut adapter that you can buy from bilstein if my memorey serves me right.
i had them in my 318is, when i went to install my konis...surprise!! you have to buy new collar nuts, while the front suspension is all over the place :)
